Spiral Granny Square

Join the granny squre and sew on all front pieces (I add 2 row of DC on each side of the band so that the lenth could match the width of ponch)

This is my 3rd version of the poncho. I was trying to make a color band instead of the granny square. That's the reason why I start with 71DC in each row. I would suggest you start from grama square band, then you don't need to add 2 row DC on each side to match the width. I didn't take picture of the 1st verion. But I attached the diagram for the colorwork I designed.
For the 2nd version, just without the turtle neck collar. simply sc for the first rnd and reverse sc the second rnd. This make the neck open too large for my 1-year-old daughter. So I choose the turtle neck.
