Winter is coming. This carseat poncho allows your little one to stay covered and warm while following safety regulations while traveling. I knitted this poncho for the new born of my friend. That why it could double as a carseat basket cover. If you only want to knit for toddle who is using convertible car seat or booster, you could shorten the length to about 17"-19" and you only need 4 balls of yarn.  This poncho could double as a carseat basket cover. The neck opening allow you to hold the handle of the basket. Or, once your kid getting older. Then the poncho could allow him/her stay safe with buckle up. And easily take off while travelling.
